An antique Verneh small carpet, South Caucasus.

The field with overall multicoloured small rosettes in a lozenge shape lattice. In polychrome shaped baton and lozenge border between running-dog and barber-pole stripes. Similar design rust skirt at each end.

Very nicely drawn design and good colour combination. This piece is in good usable condition. Ends and selvages original. Attractive and elegant piece, popular on the market.
