Rug Description
This is a Dagestan runner woven in the northern Caucasus during the end of the 19th century. The field is decorated with shrubs interlock in a lattice design and the border makes use of an abstract crab motif. This runner has highly saturated all natural vegetable colors and it is in exceptional condition considering its age. The yellow colored field is a special feature that is loved by collectors and designers alike. It has been woven on a wool foundation with 100% wool pile and is ready to be an addition to bring color to any room or added to any collection.
