Rug Description

Antique Caucasian Karabakh (Qarabag) Rug completely hand knotted. The carpet is in very good condition and in full pile. The field is nestled by four borders. The main border bears the motif of the goblet and the toothed leaf, while the rosette motif runs along the external border. the frames of the carpet, with warm and well-distributed colors, are the prelude to the pattern on a midnight blue background, filled with an all-over grid full of stylized floral motifs and small traditional symbols. A small, delicate abrash runs across the center of the rug. This Qarabag rug is professionally washed and ready to be displayed.
