In this very particular Caucasian carpet, we can immediately appreciate the characteristic color of the olive green background and borders, which is truly suggestive. The main border of this delightful antique Karabak Susha carpet is adorned with beautiful botehs with a serrated profile in intense blue, interspersed and contrasting, interrupted by small floral elements between one boteh and another. The background of this rare antique Karabak Susha carpet is dominated by a series of medallions, perfectly calibrated along the surface and well-matched in colour. The ivory background counter-edges are particularly noteworthy as they give brightness to the carpet, highlighting the chromatic contrasts with the colors present in the background. The decorative composition of this antique Caucasian Karabak Susha carpet is very interesting as it develops with interpretations of the medallions and decorative motifs following a completely unique style: the ash blue medallions contain a delightful medallion with red pendants in the center.
