Rug Description
This is a silk and metal thread Chinese rug woven during the end of the 19th century for a temple within the forbidden city. It has a floral border that uses flower motifs. It has been woven on a cotton foundation and has all silk pile and metal threads. This rug is in perfect condition and it is ready to be cherished for many years or added to any great collection.
