Rug Description
This is a Peking rug woven in China during the first quarter of the 20th century circa 1900 -1920s and measures 163 x 94CM in size. This rug has a highly unique design that contains no borders how and is made up of blossoming bamboos that contain traditional Chinese lanterns set on a blue background color. the main field of this rug is absent of any designs or motifs creating an extremely modern contemporary design that makes it extremely decorative and desirable by interior decorators and collectors alike. This piece has been preserved in excellent condition retaining all of its original full pile and has recently it’s been professionally washed making it ready to be added to any collection or to be used in any modern or traditional setting.
