Rug Description
This is a uniquely drawn antique Peking Rug woven in eastern China during the first quarter of the 20th century circa the 1920s. This carpet has a unique and bold art deco design which consists of interlocking leaves and flower motifs within the center of the rug which are surrounded by a peach colored open field border with four vase motifs with blossoming flowers. This carpet has an oval-shaped field design and a black open field border that creates color contrast against the overall lighter color palette off the field. This carpet is in full pile perfect condition and has been professionally washed.
