Rug Description

An antique Tibetan rug, approx 161 x 89cm The soft camel beige field with stylised angular floral sprays around two roundels with similar design. In shaded terracotta border of lotus flowerhead and delicate antique angular leafy vine between pearl-seed and plain stripes. Good design more associated with khotan type. This rug has good pile with well balanced colours. Ends with short fringes secured, Selvages original with touches of fraying on wool cord in small places.in general this rug is in very good usable condition. Elegant piece.
