Rug Description

The ivory field with overall design of stylised hooked leaves and angular vine enclosing sandy-yellow and rust serrated lozenges and stylised polychrome radiating floral motifs together with small rosettes. In an ivory border of bold polychrome palmettes and angular arabesques between X-motif and angular floral meander stripes.

Very good type and very good colour combination. Well drawn drawn design. This carpet has good pile. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages rebound, well done. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and popular type.
