Persian Heriz Serapi Carpet, ca XIX century. A magnificent large format Heriz Serapi Persian carpet on a rare ivory ground. A carpet, this Heriz Serapi, of considerable value, easily perceivable by the well-modulated and particularly assorted color combinations, the composed and well-articulated design on the entire surface. In this Heriz Serapi, in addition to the clarity of the design, we can appreciate the proportions of the central medallion and the counter borders on a blue background. The contrast, although very clear with the background color, is particularly balanced and decidedly refined in combination with midnight blue, antique pink, the various shades of green, red and light blue. The central lobed medallion, with the two pendants and the corners, make this Heriz Serapi a true graphic masterpiece, every detail is marked thanks to the chromatic alternation and the proportions of the motifs filling the background. The border, in brick red, hosts a delicate herati samovar motif well-arranged and modulated across the entire frame. The state of conservation of this magnificent antique Heriz Serapi carpet is exceptional, ready to be placed on the floor and make your environment elegant and sophisticated.
