Antique Persian Kashan Kurk Carpet, 1920 ca. A rare and very elegant antique ivory Kashan carpet with all over floral design. In this Kashan, we can appreciate the refined decorative composition, well developed over the entire surface, almost creating a three-dimensional effect. The tones of the floral motifs are decisive in the graphic line and at the same time delicate in the contrasts obtained from the fill colours. The background of this ancient Kashan knotted with very fine Kurk wool is further embellished by the sophisticated contrasts of the bottle green and brick red borders perfectly modulated in terms of proportions and stylistic choice of floral patterns. In excellent condition, this ancient Kashan Kurk carpet can be placed both in a sofa area and in a dining area. It can coexist with any type of flooring, always guaranteeing an excellent visual and furnishing effect. This Kashan Kurk has been carefully preserved and professionally cleaned.
