Rug Description
Antique Persian Kashan Silk Rug, 1900 ca. A small rug of rare size and format completely knotted by hand. Square-shaped carpets are increasingly produced less than rectangular formats. In this magnificent silk Kashan, we find the classic layout of the central medallion design surrounded by floral motifs across the entire purple-red background. The color combinations and proportions of the designs are perfectly balanced, offering a clear and harmonious vision of the entire design. Herati motifs run on the midnight blue border in a sophisticated color combination. The green tones of the counter-edges outlined in bright yellow are very interesting, harmonizing perfectly with the multicolored floral motifs of the background. A true jewel with small dimensions and undisputed elegance. In excellent condition. Explore our collection of Antique Persian Kashan Silk Rug.
