Old Persian Kashan Fine Rug. 1950-1970 ca. A classic Persian carpet made in the city of Kashan. On a natural wool colored field, the medallion motif develops over the entire surface of the carpet. Two rows of medallions blend in harmony of shapes and contrasts with other delightful small medallions that run in the center of the background. In this Kashan carpet, we can appreciate the clarity of the design, the refined chromatic sensitivity and the relationship between decorative motifs and the dimensions of the carpet. Rarely do we find medium-sized Kashan carpets with an ivory background and such refined designs on the market. This Kashan carpet is in perfect condition, professionally cleaned and ready to embellish your rooms.
