Rug Description
The light beige field with polychrome flower-head and leafy vine around large indigo medallion with floral vine and arabesques enclosing dusty-pink medallion with floral sprays and ivory bold floral centrepiece. Light blue spandrels similar. In an ivory densely woven floral border between similar wide stripes. Outer ribbon and plaid stripes.
Great example for Kirman weaving. Very good colour combination and well drawn design. This carpet has good pile and in general is in very good usable condition. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages rebound, well done. Attractive and great furnishing piece
