Rug Description
The charcoal-black field with single column of stylised open multicoloured serrated leafy lozenge medallions, each containing central bold polychrome palmette and small rosettes. Similar palmettes and rosettes at each side. In rust-red border of polychrome hexagon panels and angular vine between ivory floral meander and zig-zag stripes.
Very nice example for North-West Persia’s weaving. Well drawn and elegant design wit good colour combination. This runner has slight localised wear to the top pile barely visible. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this runner in in very good usable condition, good size. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
