Rug Description
This is an early 19th century Northwest Persian rug. The field is made using a Harshang design with extra-large motifs on a midnight blue background.
The coral colors used throughout the field create a dramatic color contrast against the dark field. Its main border is comprised of the traditional palmettes flanked by the classical sickle leaf motifs. This rug has been woven using a cotton foundation and 100% all-natural colored wool pile. It was been professionally washed and is ready to be enjoyed in any home or added to any collection.
