Rug Description
An antique North-West Persian runner
Size, approx: 510cm. 108cm
The soft terracotta field with single column of lozenge shaped floral medallions together with polychrome hooked palmettes and rosettes. Ivory floral spandrels. In multiple angular flowering vine borders and outer plain stripes. Very good example for this type with nice bold design and very good colour combination. This runner has touches of slight west to the top pile, barley visible, otherwise this piece has good pile. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this runner is I very good usable condition throughout. Elegant and great furnishing piece.
