Rug Description
The ivory field with delicate angular floral and leafy vine around indigo and light rust double medallion with pendants containing similar design together with stylised palmettes and arabesques. Rust spandrels similar. In an indigo border of polychrome palemttes, angular floral and leafy vine between light blue and ivory flowering vine stripes. Outer barber pole and zig-zag stripes.
Very good type with beautifully drawn design and good colour combination. This carpet has good pile. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Superb furnishing piece, Attractive.
