Rug Description
The soft list plain beige field with pendant. Floral mihrab above together with palmette, cross panel above. Single row of inverted open linked palmettes on the other end. In shaded light red border of polychrome palmettes, rosettes, serrated leaves and angular tendrils between floral and plain stripes.
Very good type and well drawn design with soft colours. This rug has slight scattered wear to the top pile. otherwise good pile of soft and lustrous silk. Ends with fringes, secured. Selvages secured with touches of very small old repairs on cord, well done.
In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
