Rug Description

The soft sandy beige field with overall design of scrolling vine linking bold multicoloured palmettes together with large leafy sprays and delicate tendrils. In light beige border of similar design between pistachio-green and red floral vine stripes. Outer rosette and linked arch stripes.

Very good example for antique silk rug. Soft pastel colour scheme. The pile of this persian silk tabriz rug is full and fine quality. Ends with kilim and fringes, original.

Selvages also original. In general this antique silk rug is in very good condition throughout. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
