A fine antique Tabriz runner, North-West Persia
Size, approx: 570cm. x 72cm.
The dark blue field with overall design of polychrome palmettes, serrated levels and angular floral vine. In soft rust border of similar design between sandy-yellow floral meander and plain stripes.
Well drawn overall design with well blended colours. Seldom found type in long runner size. This piece has very good pile. selvages rebound. Ends with short fringes, secured. Great furnishing runner, song and narrow. In general, very good condition throughout. Attractive.
