Rug Description

A fine antique part silk Keyseri rug, Turkey. The ivory field with stylised animal figures, palemtes and angular leafy vine around pale green and dusty pink floral medallion. Spandrels similar. In pale green border of animals, palmettes and left vine between dusty pink angular floral mender and plain stripes. Good type and nice pastel colours. This rug has slight wear to the top pile, down to knot collar in places. Selvages and ends original with fringes. In general good usable condition. Elegant piece.
