Textile Description

The light red field with polychrome floral and rose head garlands around shaped stylised pile medallions, each with rosette centrepiece. Central large floral roundel with similar medallion flanked by angular bars. Each end with cross panel containing framed  large fish motif flanked by floral sprays.

Very nicely drawn design and good colour combination. Unusual runner size with contemporary feel. This needlepoint has localised dot like wear also scattered old recoiling, well done. Ends and selvages original. In general this piece is in good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
